Mindless self Indulgence indeed!

..I was suppossed to blog about a CD that I copyed in class, but never got around to it.,, until now,, I guess, i'll do that now.

...The CD I "burned" or "ripped", (i cant tell the differance), is the debut cd from the New York band "Mindless Self Indulgence" that came out in the year 1999. I first seen this fun Band open for the Armenian Band "System of a Down" when they played in Detroit Michigan in 2001.
A very fast paced multi-rythmic pycho metal sound. The lead singer/noise-maker is named "little Jimmy Urine" and sings with high pitched sounds of that of when one sits on a cold toilet seat. The second track is a cover of a rapp song "Bring the Pain" , but the lyrics are the only thing that is the same with the orignal song. Kinda unnerving hearing Jimmy Urine singing (or sceaming) "Kill Whitey".

This debut cd from MSI had a different female bass player than they do as of recent. She left the band after their second cd in 2002.
Their now bassist Lynze, was hired during an audition, when she walked into the room (that they were having the auditions in for a new bass player) she carried in a gas can , started dumping gas on the speakers, then lit a match, threw it, and as the Bands' Amps started to blaze in fire, she calmly walks out of the room.
...Then the lead singer Jimmy Urine belts out "Oh My God, I'm in Love! Hire Her!"
